PRIORITIES

My focus has always been students first. I support safe learning environments, strong academic programs, and pathways in STEM, the arts, and skilled trades that prepare students for the future.

Students do their best when they have great teachers and staff who feel valued and supported. I believe in fair compensation for our educators and the responsible stewardship of district finances.

I support the district’s strategic priorities because they help keep decisions focused on students, families, and our community’s needs.

Declining enrollment is a challenge facing districts across the state. I am committed to thoughtful planning that keeps our schools strong, supports students and families, and ensures Milan Area Schools remains an attractive choice for new families.

The State of Michigan must address the funding gap between small and large districts. Current funding restrictions often limit how dollars can be used, reducing our ability to meet the diverse needs of our students and schools.
